Interventions

Intervention1: Yoga Therapy will be given: 3 months of yoga therapy will be given as intervention. Structured yoga module will be taught in Advance Center of Yoga Therapy and Research (ACYTER) in JIPM

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient able to perform yoga. Patient receiving similar type of antiepileptic drug such as carbamazepine, sodium valproate, phenytoin, phenobarbitone.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient already undergoing any kind of yoga therapy and/or structured exercise. Patients who are not fit for practising yoga. Pregnancy, diabetes, hypertension. Patients with refractory epilepsy.

MeasureTime frame
Expected difference in mean of BRS as 5 ms/mm Hg.Timepoint: At the end of 3 months in patients undergoing yoga therapy

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in Biochemical markers like NT-pro BNP, Copeptin, IL-6 in epilepsy patients undergoing yoga therapyTimepoint: 3 months of yoga therapy improves the biochemical markers.
