Interventions

Intervention1: PEDICLE SCREW FIXATION: patient laid in prone position ap/lat view taken via c arm to identify fracture vertebra and marked The skin incision will be made along the cephalocaudad line.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Kyphotic deformity >20 degrees. 2)Progressively increasing neurological deficit. 3)Posterior ligamentous complex disruption. 4)Loss of vertebral body height by more than 50%. 5)Presence of free bony fragment within spinal canal with incomplete neurological deficit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with a stable injury. 2)Patients with injury at multiple levels. 3)Patients unfit for surgery /patients refusing surgery.
