Interventions

Intervention1: Yoga and Naturopathy(Katisnsna and kunjal kriya): a) Kunjal kriya to be performed in following steps (weekly) i. Ask patient to drink 4-6 glasses of warm saline water on an empty stoma
5 days a week. Weekly once kunjal kriya to be practised by the subjects. comparator: Nil Control Intervention1: nil: nil

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age group 15–40 years (unmarried and married patients) 2.Diagnosed cases of PCOS 3.Irregular menses/scanty menses due to anovulatory cycle 4.Patient fit for Kunjal kriya.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cervical tumor, polyp, carcinoma cervix 2.Uterine fibroid 3.Congenital anomalies of female genital tract 4.Tuberculous endometritis 5.Congenital adrenal hyperplasia 6.HIV/venereal disease research laboratory/HbsAg positive 7.Malignant disease and patients on cytotoxic drugs

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Yoga module, diet modification and kunjal kriya,Kati snana together will improve hormonal profile,ovarian morpology,and anthropometric meassurmentand help in management of PCOS.Timepoint: these parameters could be assessed after 3 months and then 6 months of intervevtion.

MeasureTime frame
Effect of yoga and naturopathy on hirsutism and acne.Timepoint: these parameters could be assessed after 3 months and then 6 months of intervevtion.
