Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Determining the occurrence of olfactory and gustatory alterations in patients with laboratory confirmed mild to moderate COVID-19 infection admitted to a tertiary COVID care hospitalTimepoint: The patient will be assessed on the day of admission to the COVID hospital, (taken as baseline), assuming the day of admission to the hospital as the day of detection as COVID positive. The patient will then be followed up after 2 weeks and 3 weeks from baseline to assess the resolution of symptoms. This is so because most of the studies have revealed that majority of the symptoms subside by 2-3 weeks in patients with mild to moderate COVID disease. | — |
