Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients after cessation of skeletal growth. 2.Patients operated for TMJ ankylosis with mild to moderate chin deformities. 3.Mandibular asymmetry secondary to craniofacial anomalies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients who are medically compromised. 2.patients with systemic bone disease.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Post operative assessment of mandibular symmetry. Timepoint: post operatively 3 weeks ,3 and 6 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Assessment of any neurosensory changes after surgery. 2.Assessment of mouth opening before and after surgery. Timepoint: 1.post operatively 3 weeks ,3 and 6 months 2.post operatively 3 weeks ,3 and 6 months
