Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged >=18 years and <=70 years who required diagnostic bronchoscopy for any valid indication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Lack of informed consent. b. Profound refractory hypoxemia. c. Severe bleeding diathesis. d. Recent myocardial infarction or unstable angina. e. Respiratory failure. f. Uncontrolled hypertension. g. Unstable cardiac arrhythmias. h. Pregnant or lactating women. i. Renal failure. j. Use of sedatives or centrally acting drugs 12 hours prior to bronchoscopy. k. Patient taking Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors or serotonergic agents. l. History of hypersensitivity to dextromethorphan
