Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Seventy five ASA physical status I and II patients of either gender aged 18- 65 y scheduled to undergo surgery under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) ASA grade III and above. b) History of hypersensitivity to drugs used in study. c) Patients suffering from psychiatric illnesses on medications. d) Intake of barbiturates or any other enzyme inducing drugs in the last 3 months. e) Patient on any kind of pain medications. f) Morbidly obese patients. g) Patients who are chronic smokers or those that smoke more than 1 pack of cigarettes daily.
