Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy Subjects with caries, gingivitis and periodontal diseases 2.Free from systemic diseases affecting salivary flow patterns. 3.Subjects willing to give voluntary informed consent and will be available for the entire duration of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects undergoing orthodontic treatment and edentulous. 2.History of smoking, alcohol consumption. 3.Subjects who are pregnant, lactating or nursing. 4.Subjects under continuous nutritional supplementation 5.Any underlying uncontrolled medical illness including Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, and Hepatitis. 6.Subjects undergoing radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and under long term medication.

1.Increased salivary vitamin C and total antioxidant capacity 2.Decreased Malondialdehyde levels 3.Salivary pH, Gingival & periodontal Health Parameters, Caries reduction. ( Plaque index, Gingival Index, Bleeding Gum, Saliva pH, GBI, Caries reduction) Timepoint: Intervals of 5 visits Visit 1 Screening Visit 2 baseline Visit 3 Week 4 Visit 4 Week 12 Visit 5 Week 24

Increased salivary Vitamin C levels, total antioxidant levels post usage of medicated toothpastes. Decreased salivary malondialdehyde indicating decreased oxidative stress post usage of medicated toothpastes. Salivary pH, Gingival & periodontal Health Parameters, Caries reduction. (Plaque index, Gingival Index, Bleeding Gum, Saliva pH, GBI, Caries reduction) Timepoint: Intervals of 5 visits: Visit 1(Screening), Visit 2(baseline), Visit 3(Week 4), Visit 4 (Week 12) and Visit 5(Week 24).
