Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA GRADE I and II patients. Patients scheduled for elective surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children with anticipated difficult airway. 2.History of obstructive sleep apnoea. 3.Congenital anomalies involving ear. 4.Surgery involving airway. 5.Risk of aspiration . 6.Prior esophageal surgery. 7.Known oropharyngeal comorbidities.

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the placement of PLMA using BRIMACOMBE SCORE between weight based and pinna size based placement of PLMA .Timepoint: Duration measured from the time the face mask is taken away from the face until the end-tidal CO2 curve appear on the monitor.

MeasureTime frame
Age of insertion of PLMA using LIKERT SCALE. PEAK AIRWAY PRESSURE. Number of attempts taken for successful placement of PLMA.Timepoint: Duration measured from the time the face mask is taken away from the face until the end-tidal CO2 curve appear on the monitor.
