Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.American society of Anesthesiologist (ASA) physical status 1 and 2 2.Patients scheduled for short elective surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with anticipated difficulty airway. 2.Patients with upper respiratory tract infection. 3.Patients with increased risk of regurgitation and aspiration of gastric content. 4.Patients with body mass index >30kgm�² . 5.Patients with history of radiotherapy to neck involving the hypopharynx. 6.Patients who have undergone surgeries or have pathology involving neck and oral cavity. 7.Pregnant patients.

To compare oropharyngeal leak pressure of Baska and I gelTimepoint: After insertion of above device till end of surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare baska with i-gel with respect to Ease of Insertion Insertion time post operative complications. Timepoint: After insertion of above device till end and after 2hrs after surgery
