Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age group 18-65 years. 2) American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical status 1or 2. 3) Availability of informed consent. 4) Any gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with known airway difficulty due to trauma and congenital or acquired abnormalities. 2) Patients with goiter. 3) Obstetrics Patients. 4) Psychiatric patients. 5) Patients with a body mass index >35 kg/m2. 6) Patients with neuromuscular disorders, Abnormal dentition

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. To evaluate the performance of ratio of height to thyromental distance as a predictor of difficult visualization of larynx. 2. To compare the predictive performance of ratio of height to thyromental distance with Modified Mallampatti Test. Timepoint: At the time of laryngoscopy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To compare the predictive performance of ratio of height to thyromental distance with Sternomental distance, Interincisor gap, and upper lip bite test for DVL. 2. To evaluate the predictive performance of ratio of height to thyromental distance as a predictor of Intubation difficulty scale more than 5. Timepoint: At the time of laryngoscopy.
