Intervention1: Ultrasound Guided Continuous Femoral Nerve Blockade: 1) 10 ml bolus of Inj. 0.2% Ropivacaine with 2 mcg/mL of Inj.Fentanyl will be given before extubation through perineural catheter. 2

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients undergoing knee surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient refusal 2)Coagulopathy 3)Local infection at the site of injection, Neuropathy 4)Allergy to Local Anesthetics or other medications used in the study 5)Contraindications to neuraxial blockade like local infection, fixed cardiac output state like stenotic valvular lesions.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the Ease of Rehabilitation using goniometer in patients undergoing knee surgeries under Continuous femoral nerve block/Continuous epidural analgesia.Timepoint: 24hours and 48hours post operatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)Comparison of post-operative analgesia by VAS scores. 2)Amount of rescue analgesic used. 3)Side effects such as hypotension, bradycardia, vomiting, itching and urinary retention. Timepoint: 24 hours and 48 hours post operatively
