Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with untreated chronic periodontitis with PD greater than or equal to 4 mm and radiographic signs of bone loss Non smokers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating females Use of immunosuppressive agents Deleterious habits like smoking or alcohol consumption Systemic or local antibiotic therapy within last 6 months Periodontal therapy within last 6 months Patients with systemic diseases or on any medications
