Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)CHILDREN AGED 0-10YEARS. 2)ASA GRADE I-II. 3)CHILDREN OF EITHER SEX 4)ELECTIVE SURGERIES under general anaesthesia less than 2 hours duration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Children with renal impairment,cardiac or liver failure, anomalies of heart,hypervoelmic state,severe generalized edema,electrolyte imbalance and metabolic acidosis. 2)Parental refusal.

To determine the change in plasma Chloride and other electrolytes(Na+,K+,Ca2+,Mg2+,Cl-) Timepoint: From Start of surgery to end of surgery.—

1.To determine in change in acid base variables. 2.To determine the changes in renal function test (S.creatinine, B.urea)& blood sugar. 3.To determine the changes in hemodynamic parameters. 4.To determine the incidences of any adverse reactionsTimepoint: At Start of surgery ,hourly intervals and at end of surgery.—
