Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18yrs or older,Patients on Invasive Mechanical Ventilatory support with initial Spontaneous Breathing Trial failure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Tracheostomized patients, Pregnant patients, Patients transferred in from other hospitals and not having information regarding Spontaneous Breathing Trial, Patients on Do-not-reintubate, Refusal of consent
