Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients with Estrogen receptor positive breast cancer, who are candidate for primary breast surgery will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Past history of thromboembolism, uterine cancer, stroke, deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism 2.Previous chemotherapy or hormonal therapy for breast cancer 3.Patient on anticoagulant therapy 4.Retinal disorders 5.Active neurological or psychological disease

To study the effect of 7 days of oral tamoxifen on Ki 67 expression in Estrogen receptor positive breast cancerTimepoint: Immediately after 7 days of tamoxifen intake, patient undergoes breast surgery and Ki67 levels are assessed in postoperative specimen
