Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Native Kannada speakers 2. Aged between 18-75 years 3. Handedness- Right 4. Aphasia resulting from stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury 5. Onset of aphasia at least three months prior to study 6. Medically stable participants (confirmed by a neurologist/physician) 7. Diagnosis of aphasia, as confirmed by a trained speech languaeg pathologist based on Western Aphasia Battery (Kannada)] 8. Should pass screening auditory acuity ( Pure tone audiometry >40dBHL) 9. Should pass visual acuity test 10. Should pass screening for cognitive deficit
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any other progressive neurological conditions 2. Persons with aphasia who are currently undergoing Speech therapy. 3. Persons with aphasia who require therapy in languages other than Kannada 4. Brain damaged individuals with associated Moderate-Severe dysarthria
