Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: adult patients >18yrs of age patients admitted in RICU foe >24hrs and intbataed or tracheostomised parients requiring Mechanical ventilation pstients glasgow coma scale >4 and <12

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: quadriplegia patients on inotropes/vasopressor support treatment with neuromuscular blocking agents Ramsay sedation score of 3 or 4 suspected brain death patients allergic to study drugs
