Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for nurses 1) Registered Staff nurses who have completed the diploma or under graduation program in nursing 2) Nurses who are working at medical, surgical or other related wards where patients require palliative care. Inclusion criteria for patients 1) Patients having life-threatening conditions (stroke, cancer, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, renal failure, cirrhosis, tuberculosis) and in the state of end of life care which is certified by the treating doctor.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for nurses • Staff nurses who had undergone palliative care program. Exclusion criteria for patients • Patients who are unable to communicate verbally.
