Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sexually active women Age > 30 years Symptomatic women who presented with either persistent vaginal discharge for 6 months or more or inter-menstrual/postcoital bleeding or detected to have an unhealthy cervix on examination. Women who are willing to give consent and participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women Asymptomatic women Unmarried or not sexually active

!. Prevalence of high risk HPV and CT infection in women with premalignant and malignant lesion of cervix. 2. Prevalence of high risk HPV and CT infection in symptomatic women (persistent vaginal discharge for over 6 months, inter-menstrual/ postcoital bleeding or detected to have an unhealthy cervix on examination). 3. Prevalence of CT infection in HPV positive samples when compared to HPV negative samples.Timepoint: 1 year and 6 months
