Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. First ever ischemic stroke of anterior circulation within 1 week at presentation. 2. Age between 18-64 years years of either gender.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 and more than 64 years 2. Recurrent stroke proven radiologically or clinically 3. Stroke causing retinal infarction, hearing or listening com¬prehension disorder and death within 3 days of onset. 4. Stroke other than ischemic like venous infarct, hemorrhage, trauma, 5. Other diseases of brain : tumor , demyelination 6. major and active psychiatric illness and pre-existing dementia, 7. transient ischemic attack 8. patients with known previous cognitive impairment and prestroke dementia
