Intervention1: Vitamin C: In one arm patients will receive Vitamin C 500 mg tablet twice daily Control Intervention1: Placebo tablet: In other arm patients will receive placebo tablets twice daily

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of either gender 2. Diagnosed as diabetic nephropathy (Biopsy proven)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. H/O Hypersensitivity to study drugs 2. eGFR 3. Uncontrolled hypertension 4. Patients who are on drugs which can affect study outcomes, for the past 3 months 5. Pregnant and lactating women
