Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Blood donors who are resident of Udupi district, Karnataka and who are willing to give an informed consent for participation in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Blood donors who could not meet the minimum selection criteria and deferred as per Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1945, Director General of Health Service and National AIDS Control Organization Guidelines for Blood Donor Selection and Blood Donor Referral, 2017
