Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA PS â?? I and II Mallampatti score 1 and 2 Surgeries lasting for 2-3 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Anticipated difficult airway Psychiatric illness H/o Emergence delirium following ketamine administration H/o Allergy to ketamine and propofol

To compare the changes in heart rate at 3 minutes after induction of general anaesthesia with propofol versus a combination of ketamine and propofol in patients undergoing surgical proceduresTimepoint: 3 minutes after induction

Comparison of changes in mean arterial pressure, incidence of hypotension or hypertension after induction, time taken for loss of verbal response, level of sedation at the time of extubation, presence or absence of emergence delirium at the end of surgery, total propofol and intraop fentanyl consumption.Timepoint: At pre induction, after induction and at 1,3,5,10 minutes after intubation, time required for loss of response to verbal commands, total propofol and intra op fentanyl consumption, sedation score at 10 minutes and 30 minutes post op
