Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Paediatric patients of upto 10 years 2. ASA I and II Where epidural analgesia is planned

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindication to epidural catheter placement 2. Refusal to consent 3. Emergency Surgeries 4. Midline approach for thoracic epidural insertion

1. To understand the association between ultrasound and actual epidural depth with respect to age and weight of the child. 2. To assess image quality of ultrasound of the posterior dural complex in children. 3. To assess the effectiveness of the epidural blockade. Timepoint: At the end of the surgery
