Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients on mechanical ventilation after cardiac surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with low ejection fraction < 45%, intact intracrdiac shunts , arrythmias, open sternum, any contraindication for fluid administration such as right ventricle dysfunction, fluid overload, patient for poor echo window for transthoracic echo and transfontanelle ultrasound,on hemodialysis

MeasureTime frame
To observe corelation between peak blood flow velocity variation in the internal carotid artery measured on transfontanelle ultrasound with the respiratory variability of peak aortic blood flow velocity on transthoracic echocardiography, as a marker of fluid responsiveness in infants on mechanical ventilation after cardiac surgeryTimepoint: one hour and six hour after cardiac surgery

MeasureTime frame
Toassess if the internal carotid artery peak blood flow variability corresponds to the change in central venous pressure, change in inferior vena cava diameter and plethysmographic variability index.Timepoint: One hour and six hours after surgery
