Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis(infectious disease resulting in inflammation with in supporting tissues of the teeth, progressive attachment loss and bone loss) with probing pocket depth of 4-6 mm 2.Patients willing to participate in the study and maintain regular appointments

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of systemic diseases . 2.All forms of tobacco users. 3.History of periodontal therapy 6 months prior to the study. 4.Immuno-compromised patients. 5.Pregnant or lactating females
