Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients age group of 18-65 years of either gender of American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) grade 1 and 2 . Elective surgery of less than 2 hours duration under general anaesthesia on controlled ventilation using the LMA ProSeal TM.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Anticipated difficult airway . Recent upper respiratory tract infection ,sore throat, asthma . Pregnancy
