Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- age >18 2-Ability to give informed consent. 3-All patients with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy who have a documented LVEF.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with secondary causes of HFrEF such as known coronary artery disease, metabolic cardiomyopathy, alcoholic cardiomyopathy, tachycardiomyopathy, peripartum cardiomyopathy etc., those who are unable to exercise due to other comorbidities and patients with a poor echocardiographic window.
