Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients admitted for upper quadrant pain or a suspicion for Acute cholecystitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with acalculous cholecystitis, those with an alternate diagnosis and those who developed cholecystitis during hospitalization for any other cause
