Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA physical status I and II. 2.Age between 18 â??50 years. 3.The patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic surgery under general anesthesia. 4.Informed written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal. 2.ASA group 3 and 4, Emergencies 3.Pregnany 4.Patients with cardiovascular diseases, severe copd, chest wall deformities. 5.History of any neck, great vessel or chest wall surgery. 6.Cases converted to open laparotomy 7.Patients with any significant systemic illness

To measure the cross-sectional area of right internal jugular vein in high and low intra abdominal pressure pneumoeritoneum and to see if there is any significant change in dimensionsTimepoint: base line and intra-operatively
