Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A ââ?¬â??Diabetic patients 1. Type 2 diabetic patients with random blood sugar ââ?°Â¥ 200mg/dl 2. A minimum of 20 teeth should be present. 3. Patients with the age group of 35- 44 years 4. Patients who gave informed consent. 5. Patients with probing depth of ââ?°Â¤ 4mm and attachment loss of 1-2mm with horizontal bone loss till coronal third (2017 world workshop) Group B- Non diabetic patients 1. Non diabetic patients with random blood sugar 2. A minimum of 20 teeth should be present. 3. Patients with the age group of 35- 44 years 4. Patients who gave informed consent 5. Patients with probing depth of ââ?°Â¤ 4mm and attachment loss of 1-2mm with horizontal bone loss till coronal third in four posterior teeth and two anterior teeth (2017 world workshop)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with a history of any systemic conditions except diabetes. 2 Patients who were not able/difficult to communicate with the investigator. 3 Patients with tooth loss due to periodontitis.(world workshop 2017)

Association between oral health quality of life with diabetic and nondiabetics patients with stage I periodontitis. Timepoint: At first visit of patients chosen based on inclusion criteria.
