Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients of 12 yrs of age or more undergoing index ERCP for management of choledocholithiasis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i) Previous endoscopic or surgical biliary interventions ii) ERCP for management of biliary strictures (benign or malignant) or iatrogenic biliary leaks iii) ERCP for intended pancreatic ductal cannulation and pancreatic endo-therpay iv) Intrahepatic stones/ Recurrent Pyogenic Cholangitis (RPC) v) Suspected/confirmed pancreaticobiliary malignancy vi) Biliary ascariasis vii) Altered surgical anatomy like Roux En Y gastrojejunostomy, Billroth gastrojejunostomy etc.
