Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (B)Inclusion Criteria- 1)Patients between the age group of 6-12 years irrespective of gender. 2)Primarily the patients will be selected on the basis of the presence of classical symptomatology along with laboratory parameters of Pandu Roga(IDA). 3)Hemoglobin

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Other anemia except for IDA. 2)Known cases of hemoglobinopathies especially Thalassemia. 3)Associated cardiac complaints. 4)Hemoglobin below 7.5g/dl. 5)Patients with conditions causing chronic blood loss. ï?? Defective absorption, sprue syndrome. ï?? Known cases of chronic debilitating illness like TB, Juvenile Diabetes etc.

Investigations:- 1)Complete Blood Count (Hb% TLC, DLC, RBC count, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW-CV, platelet count, MPV) 2)Urine(routine/microscopic) 3)Stool examination (ova/cyst/occult blood) Timepoint: 90th day.
