Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with septic shock according to the sepsis 3 Definiton. 2) Patients who are intubated and on mechanical ventilation 3) Patients above 16 years of age and less than 75 years of age. 4) Patients above 25 kgs in weight.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Esophageal stricture • Esophageal tumor • Esophageal perforation • Esophageal laceration • Esophageal diverticulum • Active Upper GI Bleed

Measure	Time frame
To evaluate the feasibility of Transesophageal echocardiography in the management of hemodynamically unstable patients in septic shock. To establish more than 20% difference in the established echocardiographic indices (LVEF, FS, LVIDd, LVIDs, LVEDV, LVESV, AoV VTI, E/A ratio, TAPSE, IVC diameter, IVC collapsibility) between Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE). Timepoint: This will be done at admission in the ICU.	—
