Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Assessment of right ventricular diastolic function in paediatric TOF patients using spectral Doppler (E/A, DT) and tissue Doppler parameters (E/Eâ??) and correlating them with the ASE recommended Doppler parameters (MPA flow reversal, RA dilatation, hepatic flow reversal) in the pre cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and post CPB period.Timepoint: Assessment of right ventricular diastolic function in paediatric TOF patients using spectral Doppler (E/A, DT) and tissue Doppler parameters (E/Eâ??) and correlating them with the ASE recommended Doppler parameters (MPA flow reversal, RA dilatation, hepatic flow reversal) - 30min before sternotomy, 30 min after sterna closure | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Assessment of RV systolic dysfunction in patients with RV diastolic dysfunction. 2. To study the early postoperative outcomes in TOF patients: 1) duration of mechanical ventilation (24hrs or 24hrs), 2) length of ICU stay, 3) length of hospital stay.Timepoint: 24hrs- 72hrs | — |
