Health Condition 1: K025- Dental caries on pit and fissure surface

Interventions

Intervention1: Optradam placement.: Isolation will be obtained using optradam plus. Saliva samples will be collected before and after placement of optradam for objective analysis of anxiety and pain.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children who require pit and fissure sealant placement in Mandibular Molar Teeth, Children visiting the dentist for subsequent follow up appointments. Modification - 1. Children of 6-12 years old. 2. Children visiting the dentist for follow ups/appointments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Consent not provided, children participating in other studies evaluating parameters of stress, children with not completely erupted teeth to seal, children with lack of compliance, children with fixed orthodontic appliances,children with sign of opacity and brown discoloration after cleaning the surface of the tooth to be sealed, children with psychotropic medication or cardiovascular drugs or any diseases including common cold or cough, children who are allergic to used materials, children who are mouth breathing. Modification - 1. Children whose parents/guardians do not provide the consent 2. Children participating in other studies evaluating parameters of stress 3. Children with psychotropic medication or cardiovascular drugs or any diseases including common cold and cough 4. Children with psychological and behavioral disorders. 5. Children with visual or hearing imparities.
