Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All newly diagnosed, untreated cases of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia more than 18 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All Chronic Myeloid Leukemia cases on treatment.

MeasureTime frame
Expression of BCL6 and p53 in Bone Marrow BiopsyTimepoint: At time interval of 8 weeks for 1 year.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Association of BCL6 and p53 expression with clinicohematological parametres and with quantitative BCR-ABL1 by real time quantitative RT-PCR.Timepoint: At interval of 8 weeks for one year.
