Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: newly diagnoed or followup patients with type2diabetes HbA1c >7.5 or fasting blood glucose >150 or post prandial blood sugar >200 patient having a pre enrollment caloric intake not exceeding 20percentage of his recommended intake

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient with gastointestinal disorders patient on injectable antidiabetic agents patients with known structural or rhythm disorder of heart patient with complications of diabetes like retinapahy & nephropathy HbA1c > 10
