Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CKD (eGFR Age >18years Hb TSAT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hematological malignancy Primary hematological diseases causing anemia Ongoing infection Hepatitis B, C or HIV Systemic immunosuppressive therapy Pregnancy/ lactation

iron profile parameters (Serum iron, TSAT, TIBC, Ferriton), Serum hepcidin and IL6 levels, ESR, CRP, Lipid profile, 2D Echo, h/o infection episodes, hospitalization, requirement of blood transfusion, erythropoietin use and required dosagesTimepoint: 1 month
