Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study will include all the donors whose IVF stimulation cycles were programmed with Estradiol hemihydrate during the study period. They should have undergone a cycle within 1 year with the same stimulation protocol as in the programmed cycle. Sonography will be performed on the second day of the menstrual cycle to assess the suitability for oocyte donation and requisite blood work-up will be done. In addition Serum Estradiol and Serum FSH will be measured to check the baseline status. Estradiol Hemihydrate will be administered as 4mg 12 hourly till the stimulation for IVF is decided (generally according to the recipientâ??s menstrual cycle). Before the IVF stimulation, Serum Estradiol and FSH will be measured after stopping estradiol hemihydrate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All oocyte donors undergoing their first donation cycle or IVF stimulation with a different protocol ( dose/type of gonadotropin) will be excluded
