Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Group A ââ?¬â?? Type II diabetic patients with HbA1c levels Age between 35 and 65 years. Type II diabetic patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis (1- 3mm CAL) with pocket probing depth of 4- 6 mm. Patients willing to participate in the study and maintain regulaR appointments. Group B- Non- Diabetic patients with Hb A1c levels between 4-6% Age between 35 and 65 years. Non-diabetic patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis(1- 3mm CAL) with probing pocket depth 4- 6mm. Patients willing to participate in the study and maintain regular appointments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of oral prophylaxis in past 6 months Patient taking antibiotic in last 3 months Pregnant and lactating mothers. Patients using any form of tobacco
