Health Condition 1: D- Radiation Therapy

Interventions

Intervention1: Ayurvedic formulation for gargling: Drksha-guduchyadi kavala-50 ml, 10 times a day for 4 months, from the first day of radiation itself. Route of administration- oral (for gargling) Co

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having non metastatic squamous cell carcinoma in the head and neck region. The planned radiation should be in between 60 to 70 Gy delivered in 30 to 35 fractions over 6 weeks to 7 weeks period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had undergone prior radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Pregnant and lactating females.
