Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women with histologically confirmed incident breast cancer (newly diagnosed and untreated).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: They will be hospital and community based and with no history of any major/malignant diseases. Breast cancer in controls will be ruled out with the help of a detailed medical history and a screening mammogram/ultra sound.)

Identify priority micronutrients that could be studied further as risk factors for breast cancer. -Determine the relationship between dietary components, indoor air quality and genetic instability with breast cancer. - Development of a breast cancer risk prediction model for community-based screening of at-risk individuals.
