Intervention1: non surgical periodontal therapy: scaling and root planing as none surgical periodontal therapy once after collection of GCF at baseline. Control Intervention1: NIL: NIL

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group I: Periodontally healthy patients with no clinical attachment loss (CAL), probing pocket depth (PPD) Group II: Gingivitis patients, who show clinical signs of gingival inflammation and also showing no clinical attachment loss, Probing pocket Depth (PPD) 1. Group III: Stage III periodontitis patients who will be identified according to the clinical signs of periodontitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic diseases that could affect the periodontium. 2. Tobacco (in any form) and alcoholics. 3. Pregnant or lactating females. 4. Periodontal treatment received in the past 6 months. 5. Use of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic drugs in past 6 months.
