Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between 5 and 10 years of age with congenital and developmental cataract

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having active or chronic inflammation, uveitis and secondary glaucoma Family history of glaucoma High myopes Presence of any gross ocular pathology like micropthalmos, aniridia,coloboma Presence of PHPV, retinal detachment Presence of significant corneal opacity Significant systemic diseases which may make the child unfit for surgery Any subluxation of the lens
