Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1. Patients willing to participate in the study and give a written informed consent. 2. Patients having moderate to severe periodontitis as assessed by clinical criteria (i.e., probing depth of >=5 mm and bone loss on radiograph >=50%) in consecutive three teeth in at least in three quadrant.. 3. Patients should be between 20 and 60 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. Intake of any medication affecting the healing procedure. 2. Patients having systemic disease that contraindicate flap surgery. 3. Patient with drug allergies to any of medications used in the study, 4. Severe smokers ( >10 cigarettes/day) and habit of tobacco chewing. 5. Pregnant or lactating mother.
