Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Wives of alcoholics who are living with their alcoholic husbands 2. Wives married and living with husband for more than two years 3. Wives who are not consuming alcohol and any other substance as abuse

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Wives of alcoholics 2.Wives diagnosed with any psychological problems 3. Chronic illness like cancer,chronic psychiatric problems 4. Wives of alcoholics who are separated from alcoholic husbands 5. Legally divorced

Primary

MeasureTime frame
There will be significant difference between the mean pretest and posttest quality of life scores after the FIP among wives of alcoholics. Timepoint: 6months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
H2 -There will be a significant association between the levels of quality of life scores of wives of alcoholics with their selected demographics variables Timepoint: 30months
