Intervention1: MELOSET 3MG: Tablet Meloset 3mg is given to the intervetion group after scaling and root planing for 20 days.The group is prescribed 1 tablet before bed time.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy adult patients between 25-70 years. 2.Individuals with mild to severe periodontitis
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.smoking >20 cigarettes/day 2.uncontrolled diabetes 3.immunosuppression (pathological or drug-induced) 4.current therapy with antiresorptive drugs (bisphosphonates) 5.pregnancy and breastfeeding 6.patients in need of antibiotic therapy or treatment with antibiotic in the previous month
