Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I/II 2- Age18-65 years of either sex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Patient refusal 2- Patients with anticipated difficult airway ( Interincisor distance of Mallampati class 4, thyromental distance less than 6cm, limited neck extension, history of previous difficult intubation). 3- Pregnant females. 4- Obese with body mass index >=30kg/m2. 5- Patients with upper respiratory tract infections. 6- Laparoscopic surgeries.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare time taken for placement of two device,the time interval between the insertions of device through the incisors to the first leak-free ventilation will be taken as the insertion timeTimepoint: 8 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1-To compare the ease of insertion. 2-To compare the number of Insertion attempts and overall success rate. 3-To compare the hemodynamic parameters: Heart Rate, SpO2 , ETCO2 and MAP: pre-insertion and 0,1 and 3min post insertion. 4-Complication noted if any Timepoint: 8 months
